Sharks are a cartilaginous fish like rays, with many different subspecies.  Some are under protection, but none of the shark leather we sell is from any endangered shark species.  Sharks are carnivorous, known to sailors in the 16th century as sea dogs (though I doubt as loyal as dogs).

These are full shark skins, 32 in by 12 in approximately.  Irregularly shaped, but perfect for larger than wallet projects.
